At Volcano Guitar Works, we've been specializing in Hawaiian curly Koa guitar sets since 1983. We offer a variety of tonewood options for musical instruments, including Koa guitar sets and three sizes of Koa ukulele sets. We also offer Hawaiian-grown Cuban mahogany guitar sets, Hawaiian-grown Spanish cedar guitar sets, Koa archback guitar sets, and Koa electric drop-top guitar sets.
We are responsible for every step in the manufacturing process of our sets. Our Koa is guaranteed to be true Hawaiian Koa (acacia koa) sourced from salvage operations on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our Spanish cedar and Cuban mahogany come from trees grown on the Big Island. Each of our sets comes from a log that we ourselves choose specifically for building acoustic guitars, and ukuleles. We then carefully process each of these logs into our final sets. Because we do not rely upon anyone else for any step in our manufacturing process, we can ensure that the sets we produce are always of the highest quality.
